The Hicksville FD fellows
The Hicksville FD proudly presents their crack team of fellows from one of the stations. Watch out everyone – here they come.
Starring
- Boss
The master of the station, our chief. The rank insignia on his shoulders probably weighs more than the man himself. His loyal friend can always be found in his breast-pocket. A man of many skills: can drive, talk on the phone, write notes, and read a map at the same time. Likes red Mercedes-Benzs - especially when clean and freshly washed.
- Cutie
The second in command (doesn't like to be reminded about it), our lieutenant, fire inspector, and bird-watcher. His most important tools are binoculars and a ladder. Thought young, keeps count of how long until he can retire.
- Cookie
A firefighter and paramedic. If he wouldn't be in the business he would have become a rally driver (the tendencies are still apparent). Has some rough times in his past so now he lives his life day by day without any pressures.
- Bustly
A firefighter and paramedic. Afraid of heights. A master in patching up injured birds, such as Capercaillie. Vehemently opposes everything new. Extremely scared of needles, except when using them on others. Bustles around alot and thinks afterwards.
- Petal
A EMT that bounces from one ambulance to another and a tactical EMS wannabe. Causes all kinds of havoc with his soft-air gun. The loving father of Bundle.
- Trainee
A brave woman who has dared join the fellows. Initially shy, but has started to show her claws and is becoming one of the fellows.
- Serf
He has a real name, but no-one at the station probably knows it. A trainee (i.e. serf) at the fire station. An on-call firefighter who's looking to attend the academy sometime soon. Even though he's lived his whole life in Hicksville, still manages to get lost frequently. A master at scratching cars. Doesn't like red, especially fire engine red.
- Someone
If Serf didn't do it, Someone did. All task are attempted to delegate to him, especially if Serf can't do them. If not Serf, Someone always does everything (which means that in the end no-one does). No-one knows what Someone looks like. He likes being on-call during holidays. Also known as John.
Also starring
- Handy
The most important gadget for us. Tells us when we should really start working. Our worst enemy during working hours, but our best friend especially on Sundays.
- Crasher
The first of our two industrious local police officers. Shoots rather than runs after someone.
- George
The world's kindest and most understanding police officer - not. Both George and Crasher like to tease the firefighters to pass time.
- Workplace Psychologist
Means well, but is never taken seriously - at least at the fire station. Her goal in life is to mould the fellows into compassionate and kind people.
- Doc
Represents hope, life, and health to the townfolk. Ends up being a part of the fellows stunts against his will.
- Jack
A harmless low-life, who bugs our local police and makes them work for their living. Likes to play cat-and-mouse with officials, especially the police.
Coming attractions
- Bundle
The newest addition to the fire station crew. Due to her quite young age only knows how to sit up and cry. But her training as a firefighter is progressing quite nicely.
- Toby
Cookie's happy little Flat-Coated Retriever.
- Coroner
Doc's brother. Represents despair, death, and sorrow to the townfolk. Among the townsmen he's known as Mr Death. For some reason lives as a hermit.
